So I just read on Autospies.com that they have word that a new long wheel base LS is coming in 2006. This new LS 460, as they call it, will also offer the first hybrid LS which will be a V-8 coupled with a large electric motor. Here's the article....

I'm wondering if this will mean that maybe a V-8 Hybrid is planned for the future of the GS in say 2007 or 2008? I still LOVE my 2nd gen, but 2008/2009 is when I plan to update to the new GS. What do you all think?

personally i don't think so, since they are going to have the gs450h already, which is supposed to be faster than the gs460. it doesn't make much sense to put another v8 hybrid on top

We don't have the exact specs. of either the GS450h or the GS460 yet & it depends on what you mean by faster, whether it's 0-60, 1/4 mile, or 50-70 passing etc. . . . .

well that's what i read, that the gs450h will be the fastest gs made so far. but of course, we need to see the real cars and spec to see

I read that too, but I thought they ment compared to the gs430 since the 460 won't be out until after the 450h
