Default How Do You Explain the Discrepancy?

Perhaps my brain is not working correctly but I need some input on why. I've owned my 2025 NX450h+ for almost 3 months. My city gives a handsome rebate on home chargers for electric and Plug-in Hybrid vehicles. I bought a ChargePoint + Level 2 charger and because of the rebate it cost nearly nothing. It has worked flawlessly for 2 months, taking a fraction of the time to charge up the battery than the 110 adapter provided when I bought the car.

The curiosity is this. The Lexus App shows the amount of KWH of electricity that was needed to bring the battery to a full charge. The Chargepoint APP shows a history, by date, of how much juice was needed (in KWH) to charge up the battery. The numbers don't match and are not even in the same ballpark. The Level 2 charger indicates almost double the KWH of electricity used at any one time. Below are screenshots from both apps in the last week which demonstrate what I have been saying. Perhaps I am being dumb, but could someone enlighten me the reason for the discrepancy.... and if anyone out there uses a similar "setup," let me know what your experience is.
Thanks.

Your Lexus app appears to be estimating the percentage and basing kwh from that. I checked a few numbers dividing kwh by percent charge, so 5.658/.41 etc, and they all equal exactly 13.8, which I assume is your pack capacity. The odds of using exactly to the watt 41% of your capacity instead of 5,657 or 5,659 watts are slim, odds of that repeatedly are almost nil. So it is taking a rough estimate of capacity and working backwards from that, and doesn't sound too good at it https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...l#post11419214

There are also efficiency losses as heat during AC to DC conversion at the charger, as well as the cable resistance and even battery cells themselves. Everything that gets warm during charging is eating watts without contributing to range
