Hi, first time posting as I am now prob out of ideas on a current issue. Please be kind if not in correct place.

started with occasional P2601 coolant pump control circuit range/performance. Would come on once in a while then became more frequent.

the inverter coolant pump was running ok and coolant circulating even when the fault was showing.

thanks to members here I firstly check battery earth cable, all good. I got a new battery as I was slightly suspicious of the old one even though the readings seemed ok with the odd dip and it was 4 yrs old.

this seemed to help in that the fault didn’t come on for a few miles at least and not under any determinable conditions but certainly not straight away. I was hopeful it might be more a sensor or something. I can drive quite a way with no issues. Hybrid battery is charging and engaging at low speed as before.

I have also checked the oil pump works by jumping the relay.

all fuses are good. All live data temp of inverter motors etc are good.

(whilst I had wheel and plastic off on that side I did clear out a load of mud in the cooler which will at least make it more efficient in the summer.)

If this is fault is linked to the transmission oil pump could it be a sensor that would turn on the pump and where might that be. That is the only thing I could prob before seeking a specialist or dealer. I’ve tried to eliminate all I could reasonably and want to unleash the thoughts of those present.
