Check PCS System came on
Hi all,
I recently had my wheels aligned due to uneven wear. I received my car and everything seemed fine. I drove around 40 miles with no issues. The next day, I turn my car on and it beeps and shows, "Check PCS System". Also seems like the passenger airbag is not on, but I've got nothing in the passenger's seat. I've attached pictures. I've got around 118,000 miles on my car and never had an issue like this before. I'm apprehensive of bringing it back to the alignment place since it doesn't seem like a coincidence that I'm having issues.
Any idea what's going on and how to fix it?
Time for a dealer or body shop to check it out. I doubt your alignment had anything to do with this showing up a day later. There is nothing they would have handled that would affect the airbag system.
It is just a symptom of an aging higher mileage vehicle. Things break.

Thanks all. I just figured it's the alignment place that did this because of their shoddy work - my steering wheel isn't even straight. I ended up bringing it back to the alignment place and they couldn't figure out what's wrong with it - go figure. They suggested I bring it to the Lexus dealer, which we all know is going to be expensive.
