no power on blower fan connector
Hi,
I am new here and trying to diagnose a short in my hs250h hvac system. My blower fan bearing went bad and I was about to swap for a new one but before plugging the new one ( seemed like an easy fix) I replugged the old one and it shorted the connector. Tested with a multimeter at voltage setting there is no current passing in when acc is on with fan on, the rear passenger fan still works, the control panel still shows, and it doe not seem to be a fuse. It seems to have shorted the same circuit than the electric heater, there is only cold air coming out even if the engine is hot.
Any hel
p? Where should I start, could it be a relay, a blower control fan module or a/c amplifier?
Thanks in advance
