Sorry if this is lengthy but...... I have a 2010 HS250h with car phone Bluetooth capabilities. I have two phones a motorola and lg both android. Each phone is paired to the in car phone system with voice imprint. Both phones have Bluetooth symbol showing on screen, both are coded to car system, and both say "paired but not connected". If I hit 'Talk' button on steering wheel radio screen says 'Listening', I hit 'Talk' again and say 'Dial by Name'. Car responds 'No Connection' check phone for connection. I check phone again and see same settings. Try again with car phone and get nothing. What am I missing here? Phones are paired to car system but I get nowhere except "No Connection' even if I say 'Dial by Name'. Phone book is all voice implanted/entered. Any ideas? Lost out here.

Your answer is in bold in your statement. It isn't going to work if it isn't connected.

Because you have two phones paired to the car you have to go to the "Phone" screen on the Nav display and select "Connect Phone". On the screen where you select the phone to connect to make sure "Handsfree Power" is turned on. I believe once you select the phone and turn on "Handsfree Power" the car will automatically connect to the last phone you used.

The system will only "connect" (not to be confused with pair) to one phone at a time. It's all on pages 142-144 of the Navigation manual.

EDIT: You didn't say if you have navigation or not. If you do not have navigation then look in your owners manual starting on page 345 for the steps to connect the phone.

Thanks GS834, I'll try that. No I don't have Navigation, so will ck manual on page 345. Thanks for input, and I do realize only one phone "Connect" at a time.

GS834 is right. Another connectivity tip, take the time to turn your phones off, cold/dark/completely off at least once a week. Frequent Flyers already do it, the rest of us gotta reboot the system. Doesn't need to be for very long, a minute is fine. Separate tip, clean up your phone book for better verbal dialing results. "Mary and John's Cell" as an entry from your first SIMM chip is harder to remember and pronounce than each having a listing, we've got a 1000 slots available
