I found a couple of used ones - a beautiful red one with black interior with everything on it in Colorado (I think it is still available from a private seller), and a low mileage black opel one with a black interior in New England. I bought the one in New England today and am going up there from Florida to pick it up next week. I really like the HS a lot - I think it is years ahead of its time. Sad that they did not redo it for 2012 and make it look a little more edgy on the outside. If they stretched the car by 6" and put the extra space into the trunk, and maybe lowered it by an inch or so, I think they would have sold a lot more - that is, if they had shipped more fully equipped ones to the US.

I tried to contact the Japanese company that custom-made springs for the HS to see if I could lower my car, but I could not get them to respond. Oh, well.
Good luck on your next one and keep us posted!!!

I find in strange that you are having so much trouble buying a car equipped the way you want especially being from Florida. Florida being one of the two ports for Lexus, Toyota and Scion on the east coast. Maybe they just do not fully equip them the way they seem to on the west coast. I never could understand the marketing strategy behind the way auto manufactures equip their cars and offer option packages.

The only way you might possibly get a set of lowering springs for the HS is to buy them from Japan. I doubt you'll find them available in the states, unless you have your originals cut. Most of the sets from Japan drop the car around 25 to 30 mm, or about an inch, and cost around $300. Of course you could get a nice set of springs and struts, but that will set you back about $1500.

Here's a set:
