It's entry level. Just like the 1st Gen IS was, wood was an option for those that wanted it. Lexus is made by Toyota...it's a plain fact. Seeing similar styling cues from Lexus to Toyota and vice versa is a given. Pricing hasn't been stated yet but my educated guess on pricing would start from the mid 30's and hit the high 40's or more once you package it with every option possible.

thanks for the advice. like i filled 60 pages.

i have said the HS250 will sell. it is technically sophisticated. i'm sure it's quite pleasant to drive and all individuals (including you) and web reviews confirm this. i don't 'hate' it, i just think lexus is weak on styling.

ultimately the hybrid formula, while incredibly complex in details, is simple. replace cargo space with a ton of heavy batteries and motors, and your mpg (and price) goes up. until we get to Li-Ion, i don't think it works well in small cars, except the prius which was optimized extensively (weight, cost, packaging) for it and even it ultimately has a shallow cargo area.

the hs250h ends up being tall-ish (and thus awkward looking) to retain reasonable space while packaging everything into a vehicle that isn't too long. i think the fusion hybrid (and not because i have a ford before you jump on that) is a better package.

I think the car is very similarly styled with the current Lexus range.

The thing about LED lights is that there's no glare! I know the LED lights are on but you can't see them in the day lol.

At the angle I was standing at, they looked washed out in the pics. Trust me, at car or truck seating level, they are plenty bright.

That is just one funky interior I tell you. The more I see this car the more I'm turned off by it.

Uh-uh I hate sorry looking cars and to ME this car looks sorry. I don't care how well it performs. If you get one though I wont say anything I'll just wish you and your car well.

Sorry you don't like it. I personally like the HS and know for a fact not everyone will.

BTW, I haven't heard the word "sorry" used in that context in like 20 years.

Ha ha and I haven't used it since then either. Something about this car made me really reach back.

If people cant get over the looks, i dont think driving it will change their minds. I think looks is pretty up there in terms of priorities in a car
