I was driving down Kona Street past the old Auto Source (across from Hi-Pace) and saw a Gold/metallic beige GT-R. The front was definitely the GT-R, but could it have also been a G-35 with a GT-R front?

Anyone else see this car and can confirm?

Sadly, even if I did I don't know how to get them off my phone LOL.

That's what I thought when I saw the back. That and the color. I didn't think it seems like a GT-R color.

But the front is rather convincing...at least until I know what they are really supposed to look like.

Can't wait to see a real one down here...

yes, its a gtr kit w/ kenstyle rear. we got er done about a month ago.

no GT-Rs has been released on the islands yet. all 9 of them are still in storage.

I seen them in storage, not really storage though. You can see them on the right side as you are coming into sand island. Parked in a row. Just out in the open.

Haven't seen those. What I saw was definitely NOT a GT-R as confirmed by the others above.

I wonder why they haven't been released yet? I'm sure they already have buyers lined up for at least a few of those by now.

I think most, if not all are spoken for already. paid in full, sitting for months. Id be pist if I paid 80gs+ for a car and couldnt drive it. the cars arent released yet because corporate has to finish inspecting the dealer's service bay and make sure mechanics are all trained and certified to work on those cars. Nissan is making sure everything is up to date and dealers can provide all the needed maintenance and repairs to the GT-Rs before they are released to their owners.

Wow. Yeah, I'd be pretty mad too if I were one of the buyers. But I'm not surprised if they're all already spoken for--signed, sealed, but just not delivered LOL.

It seems the dealers or perhaps Nissan went about it backwards though. You'd think they would have made the dealerships pass inspections before delivering the cars at all. Sitting on the docks for months...I'd be going crazy if I were waiting to try out my new toy .

Those cars look sweet! And yeah, I'd be salty if I bought one and found out the cars are waiting for monkeys to get potty trained. Especially knowing that they're already available and being delivered all across the US.
