2008 scion xd Overview
Introduction
The Scion xD is based on the European designed Toyota Yaris. It's a five-door hatchback that Scion describes as an urban subcompact, with a vertical rear tailgate that's in keeping with the latest Euro look.
The xD is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) that puts out 128 horsepower. There's a choice of a standard five-speed manual or optional four-speed automatic transmission. The rear seats are split 60/40 and can be folded down flat for increased cargo carrying capacity. What's more they can be moved forward or back up to six inches for increased leg room and they can also be reclined up to ten degrees. Safety features include anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution and brake assist, front seat mounted airbags and side curtain airbags for front and rear passengers. A vehicle stability control system with traction control is optional.
The Scion xD is a brand new model for 2008, it replaces the subcompact Scion xA.

if you guys can come by, by 10 am for those that just cruising and dropping off.. you guys can park in the VIP parking lot... .. i have the huge cruise leaving blasdiel park at 11 and heading to ATM.. i think it will take them about 30 min to cruise down to ATM.. as long as i clear out the lot by 1130.. you guys can park in the lot come check it out take some photos and what not..
If you cant stay for the whole day just look for me ill be the one running around with out my head like always when we hold a event..

at first i had got approval to close off the Fort street mall enterance to aloha tower to add show cars there..
THe area by the baricades are going ot be coned off.. only the fort street exit will be open
but today i had a meeting with them again and i can put cars also around the tower...
doing this it opens up the fort street mall to be a parking lot for those that are comming on the huge cruise thats being held.. So those that wana check out the event and stay for a while from the cruise can park there cars for free and stay for while and leave..

wait, Im a little confused. at what time and where are the 'cruise n drop off' guys meeting? the event starts at 10am but the VIP cars wont be there till 11am? Im down to do the drop off and hang out for like half an hour...so am I allowed to park in the VIP lot for that? I want to be part of that huge cruise.
