Well.....I know I'm being FOB(Fresh Off the Boat) and putting that on my car 1st, but I was just wondering if you guys have any exhaust systems on your Lexus? If so, how much and where did you get it? I would also like to know what you guys recommend. I was looking maybe for the Tanabe Exhaust system because thats what seems to be common on the IS Generation forums(Well...besides HKS since not alot of dealers here on Oahu don't supply HKS). Any suggestions or decisions would help. Thanks!!!

humm i have the tanabe. cost me about 800 installed (mainly cause shipping here =/). for the most part i like it, do note its really soft from outside. my friend just got a DC exhaust installed on his rsx n it's basicly 10x louder. but after the tanabe gets broken in you'll hear a nice deep tone in the cabin from about 2-3k. after that the exhaust sound kinda dies down and engine takes over. hopefully that helps. btw i think tanabe looks the nicest

Thnx for the tip! Oh I was kind of browsing online on the exhaust and I came by this video: Borla Off-Road Exhaust

I found this kinda interesting since the Borla does sound about the same as Tanabe, but when accelerating Borla sounds a bit more aggressive.

humm im not sure, but if u search the performance section for 2IS's, one member had huge problems interms of fittment of the borla

Borla, i will say i love the sound borla mufflers make, had one on my supra and it was heavenly... BUT its LOUD and yes there have been some fitment problems on our 2IS's.

Tanabe, is the most popular choice at CL.

HKS, is where i'll go when im rdy. Why? because i think it looks nice

HKS?! Is any dealers on Oahu selling HKS?! I mean I went online on HKS main site and tried to look for a local dealer but it shows nothing. Is it because you may need to order it from the states or maybe the dealer doesn't show up on the site?!
