I never use it.I don't drive with window open either.Climate control set on 71 all the time.
I like quiet driving with the sound system.
I do use the tilt feature in warm weather when parked.

I normally have the sliding "moonroof" open unless it is too hot. Rarely open or tilt the sunroof.

I use them sometimes when the weather is nice and I'm not driving on the interstate. All the windows are down if I bother to open the sunroof.

Although my old 1998 Z28 Camaro drop top, that was top down all the time when the weather was warm. That car didn't leave the garage if there was a chance of rain(btw it doesn't snow here)

Default So that's what it is

I thought it was a money slot that you emptied your wallet into when paying for service. When it is full, your service is done.

the sunroof for me was always a budget convertible so yes, i always have it opened:

Previous cars:
1988 Maxima
2005 WRX
2008 IS350

all of them had sunroofs and all of them were opened all the time weather permitting

now i drive 2012 M3 E93

so i guess now i don't have a sunroof..... hehe

huge downside to my Audi TT that it didn't come with a sunroof option due to the center roof beam - I LOVE my 3IS for its sunroof

Given a choice between a vehicle with one and without, I'd rather do without. Warranty or not, the last thing you want is the electrics in the sunroof to fail (with no emergency hand-crank), when it starts to look like this ahead:
