Dashcam
I have the dashcam and you can connect it via wifi to the Lexus Dashcam app and download the videos. It's a bit slow to download the video and kinda clunky to do. The iOS app does not allow you to otherwise edit the videos or share the movie files outside of the app, so no sending clips to your friends.
There is also a PC app with more functionality but it requires removal of the SD card to download the video. I think there is other telemetry stored and viewable on the PC app. I haven't used it yet because who wants to go to the trouble of removing the card, finding a card reader and downloading it?
While a nice feature, it seems like the dashcam is a version 1.0 option, and could use refinement and better integration with the other systems to make it more useful.
One would think they could tie it into the other vehicle cameras and in car screen, and make accessing the data easier or automatic. Or even automatically upload to the cloud to be accessible on an app when in range of a wifi network.

Hi, I found this one on Amazon for $189.99, or $178.00 on AliExpress.
Thanks

Pros:
- Plug and Play, no extra cables or fuse taps to power it.
- Took me about 10 minutes to install.
- Inexpensive and looks more like an integrated OEM camera than the OEM Lexus camera. It bugs me that the OEM is offset from the centerline of the car and takes up window space.
Cons:
- The max "Loop" recording is 5 minutes at a time. So, if you drive fifteen minutes, there will be three files. I would have preferred if it recorded to one continuous file while the car was running.
- You have to regularly sync it with the app in order for the time stamps to be accurate.
- Lack of "extras" such as GPS, but for the price it does a good job as a basic dashcam.
I thought the two Lexus options were meh. One was too large with a funky t shape and the other didn’t include a rear dash cam and could only be installed on the driver side. I decided to go with the Momentum M7. Small, can be installed on the passenger side and comes with a rear dash cam.
