Suspension torque specifications?
Edit: solved, and here is the info in case anyone needs it in the future:
Original post
I am installing a lift kit, and wanted to know the torque specs. I was hoping there exists a diagram like the one found here for the IX: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...ere-first.html. I found specs in the factory service manual/TechDoc, but it's just a list and not a diagram. Does anyone know if a diagram like the one for the IX exists?
Specifically, for the front suspension I wanted to know the torque for:
Here is what the TechDoc has to say:
- strut lower bolt - 95 N*m / 70 ft*lb
- UCA to spindle (castle nut) - 110 N*m / 82 ft*lb
- tie rod end ball joint (castle nut) - 91 N*m / 67 ft*lb
- 3 x strut top plate to chassis frame - 64 N*m / 46 ft*lb
- rear shock absorber bottom bolt - 98 N*m / 72 ft*lb
- track rod ends (to frame chassis) - 110 N*m / 81 ft*lb

- 3 x strut top plate to chassis frame (I believe this is 64 N*m)

••••••Check out Post #50 for substantial listing of all vehicle torque specs
In that same manual go into the Suspension Chapter. The area of "components" on each has diagrams

I looked there, but I guess I didn’t look hard enough
Edit: Yes, you are right! I looked under "Installation" and "Reassembly" but I didn't look under "Components". That's the secret sauce. Thanks so much @Acrad35751 !

EDIT: 25 ft-lbs
I'm trying to find the torque specs myself for these brace brackets. The inner bolts are removed and replaced with flush bolts. It also sits under the Budbuilt skid after install. I can't seem to find the torque specs in FSM. I'll keep looking.
PNs: 5122535050 / 5122635070
Description: BRACKET, FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER,

I pulled this Pic of T4Fun's former '10 460 from 2011 4R forum post

I am doing the the Ironman 4x4 2" lift kit that is currently on sale for $699... I'll try to remember to let you know in a couple weeks how it is doing.
I have no idea where those specs would be, I don't see it in any of the obvious places (as I am sure you have looked as well). Good luck finding it!
Also (General FYI in case anyone comes back later and might find this useful) the rear shock absorber bottom bolt is 98 N*m / 72 ft*lb

Drive shaft Torque Nut and Bolts
I believe this has been mentioned before, but wanted to know what tools people are using to torque the nuts and bolts on the driveshaft.
I thought a longer style of socket would work, but now sure what people are doing for this service?
Thank you

Exploded diagram of brakes front and back with torque specs?
I found the FAQ that had a listing a lot of the torque specs, just curious if anyone has a factory exploded diagram for this generation GX with all the torque values front and back for a brake job.
Was planning to do a front and back brake job.
