Looks great in white ! I wish the interior didn't have to be the two tone however.

Is that really the Lux+ or is it the Lux? TBO looks fairly pedestrian to me. From the pix looks much less premium then the Hyundai Palisade and about the same as a limited/Platinum Toyota Highlander I don't get this thing. I just sat in a LC500 while I was waiting to get my GX serviced at the dealership so I know Lexus can do interiors. The Lux+ is neither particularly lux looking and with the KDSS stripped out and with approach/departure angles still worse than the 2010-2013 version (and much worse than the GX470's) isn't particularly off-roady either.

Also can anyone confirm the fuel capacity? Sorry if it has been posted already but can't seem to find it. I thought I saw 19 gallons but that can't be correct.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks, Yeah, that does look like the 24' Prado (aka small Land Cruiser, LC Prado) profile which was expected for the US market rather than the Land Cruiser j300. I do see why Toyota would do this, it makes the LX more exclusive than before (back when the LX560 and US Land Cruise j200 were the same vehicle) as it should be in it's price range and being the most premium/largest/expensive Lexus SUV.

I hope Toyota North America adds 'Prado' to the 24' Land Cruiser name, otherwise I can see some US LC buyers thinking (bragging that) they got the real deal Land Cruiser (j300) rather than the smaller lower cost version Land Cruiser (which the Prado has been known as).

Why would they? They don't call it the Prado in the UK - it is just the Land Cruiser. Let them brag - trust me nobody will care. The LC was a signal to those who knew, and those who didn't know didn't matter.

I wonder if 2025 will bring more rational option packages and standalone availability for stuff like E-KDSS.

Yes, good points. When I wrote bragging, I was thinking more about some US buyers being fooled into believing that they bought the next gen Land Cruiser (j300) when buying the US 24' Land Cruiser. Reason is that in markets where both have been sold, the size difference makes it obvious. Since in the US only one Land Cruiser has been known (no Prado), the now larger Prado could be mistaken by some uninformed US buyers as the next gen Land Cruiser (j300) if Toyota only uses Land Cruiser as it's name (see the confusion in this thread). Those in the know will look to the LX600 if they want the next gen LC in the US. I'm looking forward to seeing the 24' US Land Cruiser (Prado) vs. 24' GX comparison.

You really expect JQ Salesperson to take advantage of some ignorant customers and lead buyers to believe that?

LOL, of course, I do, like the Ford salespeople who have tried to convince Bronco buyers that the Bronco Sport was the big Bronco.

As my good friends The O'Jays sang: Money, Money, muh-NAY! That's Toyota's favorite song now. Turn TNGA-F into its biggest profit center.

Does anyone have info on which hybrid system will be in the GX Hybrid? Some websites are saying it will be the 4 cyl system from the Tacoma. This seems to be a downgrade, from the TT V6 which is a departure from Toyota/Lexus strategy where the hybrid is the upgrade powertrain.

I was hoping for the iForce Max hybrid found in Tundra and Sequoia. But from Lexus literature, it sounds like it’s going to be from the Tacoma hybrid.

Lexus global newsroom specifically states 2.4T Hybrid that will also be in the Tacoma. I don't know why media outlets are reporting otherwise.

Definitely a downgrade for the GX model, especially when the iForce Max is available in the Sequoia and new TX. New model is going to be two steps forward but one step back...
