Gx460...Is it possible to program a digital speedometer in the digital dashboard?

May I ask why? Are you talking about putting it in place of the dial? There are apps that will give you a digital reading.

Closest thing to on-board digital speedometer I have seen is to go into the nav diagnostics screen and it will display the speed sensor in km/h. Not practical for everyday use though.

No not in place of the dial. Where the digital - shows temperature reading, Fuel consumption etc. There is a blank spot with absolutely nothing there.

I'm interested just for the sake of being able to get my MPH back in line after installing my 33.8" BFG M/T's.
I'm almost a perfect 10% off on my speedo. 50 on my dial is real time 55 MPH.
I'd really like to use and trust my speedo again.

Wondering the same thing. Reading the dial is a pain. Would prefer to look at a number.

Great Idea ... agree that this is worthless dead space (of low resolution), so some big-a$$ MPH numbers would at least justify its existence.

2020 does have a digital speedo if that is desired on the center screen

On the 4runners you can switch the multi infomat screen to your current speed digitally, not just avg speed (useless feature really) like on the GX 460. on our 2019 this is not an option but I swear On one of the 2017’s I drove i was able to switch the multifunction display to a digital speedo... anyone figure out how to do this on other years of the GX or am I crazy for thinking that 2017 had this capability? Thanks for all your help!

Sorry.. function just isn't there until 2020. Maybe the avg speed indicator caught your eye at the time?
