New GX Premium owner
Just picked up a 2019 GX Premium in Starfire/Sepia. Learned a lot from this board. Toyota guy, but this is our first Lexus. Surprised how small this truck drives. Only mods planned so far are all weather mats, an OEM hitch, and more useful roof rack system. I saw guys putting a Prado setup up there. Looks nice but was hoping for a cheaper solution. Doesn’t seem like a Thule system will fit the OEM rails?

The only other option to attach to the factory side rails are square bars from Inno. I too need something for our Thule cargo box and am probably going to go with a full Prinsu replacement rack.

not sure on that year, but on others we put the uni filter before the oem falls apart. maybe not an issue anymore, but look into it.

Congrats on a nice looking rig!
Regarding your roof rack options, with what you want to do, reading you want to basically keep it stock, I'd go with factory racks and rails from the dealership or if you can find a take-off from someone adding an expo type rack. I think the factory would look the cleanest.
One last thing... ENJOY IT!!!

Looks good, I picked up a silver GX premium yesterday and need the same items your looking at.
Rubber Mats
Hitch
Cross Members for the roof rack (I already have the main side supports)

Created an account just to post in this thread. I've got a 2015 and am dealing with the EXACT same thing. I want Thule crossbars for a Thule Cargo box but Thule doesn't make cross bars compatible with the useless flush rails. The OEM Lexus cross bars are nothing short of useless and will not adequately support a Thule or Yakima box (I've read numerous accounts of scratched paint). I'm strongly considering either (1) replacing the stock rails with a set of 470 raised rails or (2) purchasing a set of Inno cross bars. Replacing the rails is going to be cumbersome, more expensive, and probably very time consuming BUT then I'd be able to get the Thule Aeroblade crossbar system. If I go with the Inno system I really don't want to have to buy the ugly, noisy square bar set up. All this to say... anyone have any insight that might help?

I went with the Victory 4X4 rack. Yes it looks like a Prinsu. I think it is just another option from the Southern Style offroad and Prinsue. I am very happy with the build and the VERY low noise. This is my wife's Gx460 and not mine. She made that clear however I know better. LOL.
