Would love to hear from someone that has done this and see pictures. My wife's '15 ECRU driver seat was firs owned (leased) by someone that constantly slid in and out of the SUV.

It's not cracked or torn, but it's well worn and drives me crazy. The foam needs replacement as well as the leather outer cover.

Again, not terrible. I'll live with it, but annoying.

Timely post since I was just thinking of replacing the driver's seat bottom seat foam cushion. After 110k miles it is starting to feel a bit less cushy.

Curious to find out how difficult this job is with the heated + cooled seats.

Planning on having this done soon. I was quoted $150 from a shop to swap the cushion.

Is your lower cushion collapsed? How many miles on your GX ?

thanks for the info Arcad and tecman.

Yona I'd say that's a great deal for install and parts ? given OEM cushion costs more than that

I hvea 2005 LS, and they have some notoriety for the front seat becoming hard. I had the seat bottom replacement done at a local repair ship for $150. I paid for the seat cushion replacement. For what it’s worth, the shop told me they could have redone the seat bottom for less than I paid for the replacement. He did the passenger side this year, and I’ve concluded that I indeed wasted my money on the drivers seat. My seats are heated and cooled, you can’t tell the difference between the driver and passenger seats.

Find a a well respected shop and talk to them, it costs you nothing and you will get a quote out of it. More information is better.

For the hell of it called few local spots (3-4) one was around 220-250 while rest 400-450 per seat

seems steep, I figure wouldn't more than 3 hours to do it, $100 is reasonable I'd say...
