Michelin Defender LTX M/S or Premier LTX
So I guess they replaced my old LTX M/S2 with the Defender LTX M/S.
My old LTX MS2 were ok. I did notice it started browning a bit on the sidewalls for no reason.
In any case, Which would you choose between the two?
Also, does anyone know if the Defender LTX M/S have white letting on them like the old LTX Ms2. I remember I had to reverse the tire in order for them to not show.

If you never go offroad or otherwise need more agressive tread I would get Premier LTX. While I do not have these on the GX I had Premier LTX on another car and the tires were amazing - like driving on a perfectly smooth glass surface.

The GX came with Latitude Tour and it was a fine tire, quiet and smooth. Everyone says the M/S 2 is an awesome tire and last a long time and when it's time for new tires I went with it and went with the newest and greatest (Defender LTX). The tire is very nice, deep tread, long warranty, firm sidewall, good traction...BUT...There is always a BUT. The tire I have is listed as 114T which means it can carry more weight and lower top speed than the Latitude with the 109H rating. Perhaps the higher weight limit and firm sidewall make it "noisier". When driving over the concrete surface with "cut-outs" - like on freeway - it makes the annoying "blaah blaah" noises. I have re-balanced it with RoadForce but still not helping. I have played with PSI and it helps a little with 33 PSI cold and 35 PSI warm. I seem to get better MPG with this new tire comparing to the Latitude. If you want a quiet and smooth tire then Defender LTX is not the tire for it.
The RX350 in Premier LTX is very quiet and smooth. I took 14 hours trips with it and loved it. However, it has a low tread, like 8.5/32 so it may not last as the warranty states.

Well, I'm confused and will appreciate insights .....
We have a 2016 460GX. Have about 60k miles on the Bridgestone Dueler H/T that came from the factory. We like these tires.
Were thinking we'd get the Michelin Defender LTX or Premier, and the "tire guy" at Sam's tells me he's heard the Premier don't last as long as the LTX.
No off road for us. Lots of highway miles and some snow driving.
We like a smooth quiet ride.
What does the group recommend ?
Thank you.

There are some good comparison reviews online. I seem to remember reading on Tirerack that the Defender does a bit better in snow and will last longer. The Premier has better wet traction, especially as the tire wears. Google is your friend, lots of info out there.

Got Premier LTX now from Costco, 100x better then the OEM tires(still got a year on it when changed, can't wait).
Butter smooth/quiet and much improved traction, its soft probably wore faster then Defender but totally worth it.
Note: no off-road.
