Has anyone ever done an engine swap to a 2UR or the 5.7 LX engine? Just curious. I saw quite a few guys doing engine swaps on 4runners.

the engine size is not the problem. It just needs to be twin turbo based and probably shrunk to 4.0 L. Newer technology. Way of future is twin turbos and electric.
Hopefully if there is a next gx, it will have it.

do they make a 4.6 supercharger? would that be more practical than a driveline swap
