I've seen them on eBay here and there from salvaged GXs. I'll keep my eyes peeled. Though the one thing I'm a little concerned about with trying this mod is that there is a different ABS unit for the vehicles with DRCC and one with the off-road package (i'm guess Crawl and MTS) and DRCC. I'm just hoping that that part doesn't need replacing as well.
The one hope I have is that it seems our ABS units with with the CC and MTS, so maybe they'll work with the DRCC as well.

I think a proper radar sensor should make it work for the most of part. During my testing, the system recognize there is the radar sensor, therefor, when I hit the cruise on switch, the indicate lights with the radar cruise indicator instead of regular cruise indicator, however, it followed by a warning message on the multi-information display, that stayed "Rear Sensor" malfunction. By connecting TechStream, I can see live data for all the triggering signals, speed control, etc. But, do get DTC of Wrong Country Code. Since regular cruise uses same break booster and master cylinder, I don't think that needs to be replaced at all. Same reason as Acrad said for MTS and CC functions.
No. At this point, I am only adding the radar sensor, steering wheel switch, cruise control switch, and skip the driver attention monitor and LDA all together. Just to test if Radar cruise and PCS functions became alive. Frankly, the radar cruise on GX isn't best on the market, not full range, nor traffic follow capable, I only consider it is some what an half way solution between standard cruise control and true adaptive cruise control.
Do you have a list of the part numbers you ordered for all of the components you have? I might try this myself and order the OEM radar to see if that works.

Here are list of basic parts that you will need for retrofit:
88210-60140 Mill-wave Radar Sensor (needs to be country specific to match the on-board Driver Assist ECU)
84632-08011 Cruise Control Switch stick (replacing the existing one on the steering wheel)
84633-48010 Cruise Control Switch wire harness (replacing the existing one on steering wheel)
84250-60220-C0 Steering wheel switch panel with distance control button (replace existing switch panel on steering wheel, the end "C0" is code for black color, you may need to order proper colors for your particular configuration)
84770-50010 PCS cancelling switch (there is the pre-wired harness right above the break panel where the switch goes)
53141-60090 Front Lexus Emblem (replace current one on grille, design for radar sensor)
The final step is to calibration the radar beam which you will need the Techstream software to do so. I had acquired all the parts but failed to noticed country code requirement at beginning. But it is just too cost to buy the new radar sensor here in US and nearly impossible to find used one. I will be love to learn from your experiences if you will go through the process. In principle, you could eliminate of replacing cruise control switch, wire harness, canceling switch, which only eliminate the function of enable non-radar cruise in condition may not suitable for radar cruise. The major cost is the radar sensor which is over $2000 USD in discount price.
hzhao and I were talking about this mod on the side recently. He mentioned there is a missing ECU. It's called the Driver Support ECU..... this is a different ECU than the MTS mod that replaces the Driver Support Switch ECU. I used my scope in there this weekend and didn't see it. It resides next to the Infotainment unit and is 88150 is this pic.
