No sound on new GX
Brought my new GX Luxury edition home yesterday and was loving it. Ran a quick errand this morning and when I got back in and started her up, there is no sound from the speakers. Can see channels, etc., but there is no volume control from ***** or steering controls. Also-Bluetooth connects and can make calls, but there is no sound on either end. Audio/Voice assist is also unresponsive. I called Lexus Tech support and they had me reboot the Audio system, but that didn't solve it. It's now back at the Dealer with only 65 miles on it and they are scratching their heads. Anyone ever hear of this? I'm guessing a bad head unit, but not having luck finding anything when I search.
First Lexus experience and certainly not how I expected things to go...

That is strange. I hope Lexus will figure it out quickly.

In my Lexus Service History, my 2011 was taken back in for Audio System, lack of sound in speakers when it was still <1 yr old

I have the same issue with my 18' GX Lux trim. My issue was caused by iphone bluetooth connection. Somehow, the bluetooth connection jammed the stereo sources. I couldn't get any sound from any audio sources. My fix was to delete the bluetooth connection to all phones, and re-paired them again. Been working good ever since.

At least it is working. Could have been a faulty amp. Keep us posted.

Occasional glitch is the overhead button for "SOS" Lexus Safety Connect.
When pressed it should connect for an emergency call (or to enroll and
configure the Lexus Enform Remote Start) and then disconnect. It sometimes
does not fully disconnect and ties up the speakers and microphone. Can be
cleared by disconnecting the main battery for a couple minutes.
