Hi guys/gals...I'm thinking it's time to part ways with my daily workhorse 08' GX470 and pickup a GX460. While the old one still drives great and has been trouble-free for the most part, it's about to hit 120K miles so I think it's time to move onto a newer one. With that said, I am looking for a used 2014 - 2016 with under 40K miles. Leaning toward the Luxury as I like the darker wheels and the ML stereo and I cannot seem to find a Premium with the ML option. I'm picky and am only looking for a single exterior and interior color combo so my choices are kinda limited.

This brings me to my question: Would you go with a 2014 Luxury or find a 2015/2016 Premium with roughly the same mileage for essentially the same price as the 2014 Luxury? From reading the threads here, it doesn't look like too much changed between the 2014 and 2016 models. Part of me wants the Luxury but other part wants the newer year model. Any thoughts?

I'll say that the ML stereo is a must have. The sound is unbelievable... so crisp and clear.

I would go for 2014 luxury over newer premium model. Adaptive air suspension, ML stereo , semi-aniline leather are well worth the trade off.
