Talking Don't mess with the GX...

Looks like the curb may have helped here. I am surprised the (what looks like) Camry got on 2 wheels though.

It appears that the car was entering from a secondary road and the driver was looking to merge which caused him to overlook a parked GX.

Kind of funny to see how the weight of the GX played out... the other car just bounced off of it.

GX was coming down the on ramp at a slow speed to merge. The Camry was coming at a much faster pace. My bet is the Camry driver was looking over their left shoulder for oncoming traffic and overestimated how fast the GX in front of them were going. My wife nearly rear ended a Chevy Traverse over Xmas while she was driving the GX (I was the passenger) and I had to yell at her to hit the brakes. That would have made for a bad holiday

This actually a very common accident. The Camry driver sees the Lexus begin to move in order to merge and expects them to continue onward. The Lexus driver, however, was just creeping forward to get a better view and is still there when the Camry whacks into him.

Because I've seen so many accidents like this, I won't even start looking until the guy in front of me has merged.
