Soon to be on its way
 

So after looking at everything from Japanese to German to British, sedan to SUV, we settled on the GX. It was a little unexpected because when the wife first test drove the GX, she was put-off by the truck-like ride and opted for the RX. But on a second drive she really took to the car. That coupled with a 3rd row, more space, a more comfortable seating position, and the exclusivity (over the RX) sealed the deal on the GX.

So after some searching, I stumbled on one in Oregon that was traded in just after 1200 miles. Car seems to be in pristine condition and should soon be loaded on the transport to be sent on its way to the midwest. Wife has no idea as she thinks the deal fell through and she's made peace with the notion that she will continue to drive both of our kids in her 2004 Accord coupe this entire winter. Can't wait to surprise her in a few weeks!

Congrats. Great color. You will love this truck. I am on my second GX. We looked at other trucks but did not test drive any of them. GX is such a great platform.

We just bought a 2017 Premium Sport Design in Black & Ecru ( looks like your interior color is Ecru) and we love it.
We wanted the Luxury, but they couldn't find a black 2017 in the Sport Design so we went with a loaded Premium.
I came out of a GS 350 to driving this and , personally, I love the feel. I had looked at the Mercedes GLS. Liked it, but wanted Lexus reliability.
It drives great and pulls our camper with style.
Like I said, Your gonna love it!!

Thank you all. This will be my wife's car, and I think this is exactly what she wanted. Big enough to make it somewhat utilitarian, safe enough to drive the kids around in, and reliable enough to last a really long time. It's also in the exact color/package configuration that she wanted. I specially wanted the luxury package as I wanted the upgraded leather, air ride suspension, and the driver's support package. As a bonus, this one just happened to have the sport design package and the entertainment package. Just need to get my 5 year CPO extension and have the car be covered to the end of 2028 with unlimited miles, and I'm all set to go!

She will be a very Happy Wife, congrats on your purchase, very nice color combo!!!

I like that Nightfall Mica... if I was picking up a new GX that would be the color I would choose.

I’m planning to get a new RCF and Nightfall Mica is the color I’m looking for. My favorite in the new color lineup.

I think the color doesn't come through at all in the photos. Reason why we went to test drive the GX again was we pulled into a parking lot and another one in this exact color with a sport package was sitting there and my wife really liked it.
