Looks good.

Are you gonna add some sliders and other skid plates to the vulnerable areas?

Thank you! Yup, that's going to be my next 2 mods. Leaning towards Metal Tech for sliders but they are currently on back order. Not sure on who I'm going with for Skid plates yet.

Looks really nice. Too bad Toyota can't get it right. Right out of the box, just like your building. No plastic, winch bumper, lockers, complete skid plates, Rock sliders. I do believe there is a market for that. Maybe not, the Jeep Rubicon never sold well............RIGHT! But guess they know what we want better than we do. Anyway, very nice build underway. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest.

new here. wife rejected new trd pro 4R idea to replace her car. although some aspects of this suv archaic - it is a crazy value a year or two pre-owned. glad youre taking the right steps to customize this otherwise mall hauler. so they make retractable running boards? what all did you do to the suspension? wheel tire specs? brakes? ride quality? interior noise? thanks!

I've not seen any retractable running boards... a few aftermarket slider options after removal of the running boards. OP said they are going to add sliders.

Looks really nice! :thumbup

What is the list of aftermarket mods you made? I have just put down a deposit on my new GX (well I think of it as a Prado, but that's just me). And after I do my mods, I would like mine to look a lot like yours! I'm considering ARB for suspension and proper winch bumpers. investigating slide plates and wheels. and considering the appropriate roof rack set up. while I like the look of the basic roof rack, I like the "locked in security" of those Thule cargo boxes. But I have time, as I have to wait for my vehicle to arrive - could be a while.

I will be ordering Metal Tech sliders in the next few days. Suspension - Icon Stage 3. Wheels are Icon rebound 17x8.5 0 offset. Tires are Coopers ST-MAXX 275/70/17. Ride just a tad bumpier but Truck doesn't feels as wobbly from Stock.
