Default 2015 GX 460 2nd row

Is it possible to fold flat the second row seats in a 2015 GX 460?

No, but you can remove them.

So not even flat-ish? I don't want to remove them!

Yes. Seat back can be folded to nearly flat. You just need to use the level on the seat back to fold the set back down, not the level on the side of seat cushion, which is for tilt the seat back and move the seat forward for accessing the third row.

Are you asking if the folded seat is at a perfectly horizontal "level" or
if it aligns with the cargo floor area behind it? Photos will show that
the GX seats align with the cargo area but are raised a few degrees
from absolute horizontal flat. Are you loading dog cages or food service
product that needs to be flat? Consider a cargo area mat/liner/board
to raise that area to create what you need.

Second photo shows the IS sedan folded seat that leaves a "5 gap
from the trunk floor to the folded seat back.....

GOOSE SYSTEMS rear cargo deck

I really appreciate everyone's contributions to this thread, It has been most helpful. I am looking to replace the 3rd row seating with the GOOSE systems rear deck for my 2013 GX460, Does anyone know what the GOOSE deck is made of? Is it plastic or coated wood?

Looks like I can drop +-100 pounds by removing those 3rd row seats and another 80# if I ditch the 60% second row seat, not that I am a weight freak, but surprising how heavy those seats are.

What is the part number of the plastic sill plate pointed to in the photo below. I'd like an extra I can cut to fit the new profile with deleted rear seats. (Photo taken from earlier in this thread.)

I think that plastic cover is disguising a rear frame rail cross bar.
Take it off before trimming it and do not chop away any major metal!

It is, but that crossbar comes out when removing the 3rd row. I'll order another plastic piece that I can trim to match my new flat floor, but I need the Lexus part number to order it.

What color? This shows for 2010-2019. I don't think anything changed, but not sure.

Thanks! I think I'm going to have to pull mine off this weekend and see what it is. If they really are $240, I'll come up with another solution.
