Just finish watching the Apple Event which announced new iPhone 8/8Plus and iPhone X, not to jump off the roof for the new iPhone, but one thing do come in mind is the wireless charging. My 2016 LX has it, so as more and more other models have it in Lexus line. Now would be thinking to find an after market Qi compatible wireless charging to put in the GX...... I am sure someone has already thought about it.......

The Toyota Tacoma has the qi charger built in (old technology for a droid, of course apple comes out and everyone thinks its new technology), I could see that being a nice mod by not having to have wires everywhere, but where would you put it?

apple seems like they wont use any tech until its been in use for years on other phones , then they reinvent it with another name and some apple only connector to make it feel exclusive . at least it isnt buggy when you get it

I am looking at place under the armrest, the upper coin tray. I found this: which is 90mm x 90mm, will be fit right in the middle of the tray. It will be easy to get the power since I just added power outlet to the back. I am going to do some planning to see if I can accomplish this with an easy mod.

I keep my phone on a mount so I can see it when I am driving, with that said, I'd probably get a new mount with the wireless charger built in.
