Wow couldn't have asked for more. Thank you, Tecman!
That's exactly what mine does, and the exact sound going around bends or over certain bumps.

Guess I'll turn the radio up until it goes to the dealer in a couple weeks.
Unfortunately, they're just far enough away that I haven't prioritized an off-cadence maintenance run.

Thanks again

I have this CRAZY rear-end rattles - most likely happened when I run over pumps or making HARD left turn. My wife told me to "ignore" it but how could you ignore them, arrggg? It bothers the hell out of me. I went under the truck with flashlight multiple times but couldn't find any wrong (visibly). I have tighten the jack (still no help). I have removed the tools/band-aid pouch (no help). I have also removed the spare tires for 3 days until the TPMS lit up (still no help). I played with 3rd-row seats such as sit them up and fold them down (still no help). Also, my swing gate strut makes these same noise as in TecMan videos.

I will remove the swing gate strut to see if it helps and will report back. Thank you all.

Just want to rule out second row. Let us know if the strut is causing it. I might be thinking of another car but I thought someone had a loose air deflector thing...or whatever that is called at top of the rear door

Being 2015, isn't it still under warranty?

Make sure to check the gate latch too.
I was getting pretty frustrated with the constant rattle.
It's amazing how much wrapping the little bar that the latch connects to with a couple turns of electrical tape has increased my satisfaction with the truck!

I haven't looked... does that latch allow any adjustment upper or lower when the screws are loosened? If so.. that might help as well.

That's a good question and I should have thought to try that.
I'm almost afraid to mess with it given the peace I now have, but I'll definitely check that if the tape rubs through before I catch it and need to quiet it again.

The screws are recessed into the metal plate so no. If the plate shown had an obvious gap above or below the screws then yes. If there was the obvious adjustment on the metal plate it would cause possible movement and on this heavy door so we would have more problems.

I haven't removed the gate strut to test it out yet. Does anyone know how to remove the strut end that attached to the bumper?

I've had mine off. Just carefully pry the clip off with a small screwdriver or very fine needle nose. Pops right off after that.
