Yeah.. as other thread stated biggest change is increased use of Nuluxe instead of leather in some trim/color options.

Yeap it's not leather for sure picked up ES350 for my wife and it's anything but leather, sold her IS250 that was leather. I think it's the part of the strategy to cut the costs.

What do you mean that there is a increase in the use of Nuluxe?

Bit of a disappointment that you spend so much on a Lexus and you get faux leather.

"more light-weight seating material which will aid in better fuel economy" Thought I heard it all.

Yup... that's a pretty lame excuse to cheap out...
That said, after having their 'super premium semi-aniline' offering, Nuluxe is probably an improvement...

Lexus is SO LAME with their marketing. You would think as lazy as they are for not refreshing the GX significantly in a decade, their 10-page brochure could at least feature new photos. Nope. Just recycled content. That picture of the GX towing the boat has been around since (I think) 2014.

Sometimes I wonder if the brochure is summarizing the GX, or a day in the life of a young, super-confident female professional who lives in a high-rise condo.

I predict there will never be a new generation Lexus GX. I think we are looking at the last few years right now.

I think this is it. Lexus is trying to attract a younger buyer, as a women, I certainly resonated with the female who is dressed well, looks ready for a day out, and is wearing nice clothes and is holding a fancy purse. This is what Lexus is trying to attract.

Absolutely.... because that well-dressed young woman will certainly need a true BOF 4 Wheel Drive with Locking in her daily travel to the closest Ulta for her cosmetic and perfume fix!

Just kidding... I see almost all women driving these, so it doesn't surprise me a bit.
I use mine for off-roading to kayak destinations, but I'm the exception, not the rule.

I can't remember what I stated before since I have only owned GX since March but mostly 40+ folks I see driving these. Actually about equal between M/F. I see a lot of younger people driving GX 470s.

I guess it kinda goes with production numbers... the '10-'13s are quite rare for me to see in this area since production was almost half each year what the '14+ are seeing aside from the 2010s.
