Default 2014 - 2017 GXs have same alignment of bumpers?

Hello GX Champions, i am in love with he new "Sports Design Package" bumpers that lexus is churning out from this year for the 2017 model. I'm drooling at them, my question is as per the visual inspection of GX 460 from 2014 till date, there is absolutely no change in front and back side. so do you guys think if i buy those bumpers will they fit on my 2015 GX 460?

Pls helps i can't stop drooling.

They will fit. Did you find a source to purchase the sport bumpers?

Pretty sure it's just a lip that sticks to the stock bumper. Don't think it's an entirely new bumper...

It is an added piece.

I seriously doubt Lexus would redesign the bumpers for this rare add-on. Find one and crawl under it to confirm for yourself

Stop drooling.... I love it as well. Please have it done and share with us.

Oh crap..didn't see your newest post. Is it deep into the paint? Can you buff it out?

To begin with check the damage with your nail if the paint is damage or just the clear coat, if it's just the clear coat it's an easy fix wet sand using 2000 Grit sand paper and buff if out with a compound following a finishing polish. If the paint is damaged then you need to get the Lexus touch paint and go from there.

Ouch...sorry to see the scratches...
If you need to touch up, at least black is the easiest color to match. Good luck!

i saw one up close, the bumper is entirely molded. its not a stick on piece that most people think. Rear bumper is same.
Just a last hurrah ditch effort to max out sales by lexus.

The one I looked at here has some brackets (not familiar with 2014 hardware). The obvious rubber seam would indicate that it is a separate piece, not molded. A separate piece would also make the painting procedure much easier for Lexus.

We have several members here with the sport package now so please chime in guys.

I just noticed that for the new '18 GX SDP, the added pieces to the front and rear bumper will be matched with body color.

Yes, I checked it out in person and it is a separate piece. So, they just glue it to the original piece?

I doubt glue is used, along with the lower brackets probably some plastic clips/fasteners used.
