Just did the MST module swap. First time I've ever dug into a dash like that, and I'm pretty pleased with myself. That said, I had a bolt left after putting everything back together. I'll hang onto it, but hopefully that doesn't develop into a problem.

@Acrad35751 The 859A1-60020 showed up from Bulgaria. Good deal on eBay, assuming it functions when I have the chance to install it that is.

Thanks for the help!
Just installed the MTS I picked up from Motors Head Japan on my 12 base today. However I can't find a CC Switch assembly for a decent price, any leads?

I appreciate the offer but I'm trying to find something under $250.
Thanks

You will likely need to keep an eye on the wrecking yards but will be extremely rare to find there. I only remember one person obtaining one there since February. My new 070 which was cheapest before Megazip stopped selling them was around $275 shipped.

Some side trivia:

- LC and LX 570 debuted crawl control in 2008 models / it was 3 speed CC

- LC and LX 570 carried 3 speed CC through 2011 model year

- LC and LX 570 debuted 5 speed crawl in 2013 (GX 460 uses 5 speed crawl control)

- There was no 2012 Land Cruiser or LX 570 model year in US. Just discovered that today but I don't follow the 200 series that closely.

thats good info. I peek in the 200 section often and it seems that a large part of the crowd uses CRAWL on long wheeling days to help with fatigue.

Got the use MTS today at the beach. Didn’t notice much difference as the GX does great with 4Hi already.

Default installed crawl control today....

Hello, everyone. I just purchased my 2014 GX460 Luxury on Dec. 20th but starting reading this forum a few weeks before the purchase. I found the topic of MTS/crawl to be particularly interesting and was able to source the combo switch (part# 84970-60070) from a partially-mislabeled Canadian eBay listing for $250. The picture in the ad was blurry but since the listing was from Canada, I thought there might be the chance that it had the crawl control button instead of the DAC button like mine came with. Here's the switch that arrived - it was filthy and still part of the center console when it arrived. I'm really sorry for the large pictures - still trying to get that sorted out.

I swapped the switch into a new center console trim piece (part# 58821-60381; mine was scratched up pretty badly) and also moved over my existing shifter boot, heated seat controls, sliding lid and cubby box with USB/aux connections. I got everything cleaned up and put back together tonight. Turned out nice. Everything was totally plug and play so far - absolutely no modifications from stock needed.

I have a working copy of Techstream and an OBD2 adapter so I will do the zero point calibration tomorrow and try to get this thing activated. As of right now, pushing the crawl on/off button has no effect. As a result of the swap, I have the following items for sale (next 2 pictures). PM me if you're interested.
-two center console bezels (i think these are the same for 2010-2019 but not 100% positive)
-my old set of 4 switches from a 2014 with luxury package (height control, suspension adjustment, DAC, 4H/4L)
-one shift indicator (that thing next to the shifter with P-R-N-D-S)
-the two seat heater/cooling switches
-the sliding bin cover (wood)
-the bin (i think this is just for a 2010-2013 - it has the single USB port and aux port)

Next up...sourcing the module for the MTS.

Here ya go, this was the best price I found and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't that difficult or slow to get the part from japan

CORRECTION
https://www.parts-sale.jp/TOYOTA%208...rch=859A160020
CORRECTION do not use the above it is only for '10 -'13 as Acrad correctly stated. For anyone with a '10 - '13 pretty sure this is the best deal.

JonGX has a '14 so he will have to go with the 040 for the MTS instead of the 020 for the '10-'13 models. I haven't found the 040 for sale anywhere outside of North America yet.

success! the zero point calibration was very straight forward using the linked FSM section that has been posted. it included steps at the end for Crawl activation by pushing the on/off button but I can see how people may have missed that because it came at the very end of the write-up.
