can you share any info on where you found this deal? I'd very much like to buy a set of these tires.

Why have them shipped to y our door, you should have them shipped to a tire store where you're going to have them mounted.
That's what I do when I order from Tire Rack.

I'veheard good things about the pirelli. It really comes down to what you want them to do. Highway all season, then those are great - I understand they are good for ice also - don't know if that is in your plans in Dallas. The Goodyear will probably give you a little edge off-road but it will likely come at the cost of road noise and maybe even performance. To me the Michelin LTX is the best all rounder - I just haven't heard anything bad about them other than they are hard to balance. Honestly I feel like the gx is very sensitive to vibrations so they all have to be kept balanced.

Thanks guys, I had Costco order the LTX MS/2 for me and had them installed today!I don't live far from Costco so didn't have a chance to go fast on the highway. But they feel great so far. Previous tires came with the used car I bought and had 0 tread remaining, feels like I got a new car! Thanks to everyone for explaining everything, you guys are the best!

+1 I just purchased the LTX from NTB today. So far they seem great. It's amazing how deep the tread is.

It should be right at $745 - that includes an alignment (with one year warranty), mounting, road hazard, tax, etc.

Whatever you do, don't get Goodyear TrippleTreds. I had Sams Club do a refund on them because they were horribly noisy and weren't that great overall.
Michelin Premier LTX is the way to go. I had them installed on the RX and can't praise them enough. Amazing tire. Great grip, low noise and long wear. Doesn't get any better than that.
If I get the GX, they will be my number one choice for replacement.

Notice some vehicle vibration after putting the summer's back on last month (LTX MS/2).

I took into Discount tire and they balanced them all and said one of the rears is significantly flat spotted. I don't have any of the vehicle documentation for the tires from previous owner but guy at discount told me he could get it processed. They only have about 11k miles on them. It did feel like a rear tire issue as my steering didn't wobble at all. Even in light of that the rig does seem to ride noticeably better..don't think others balanced correctly.

I just came back from Discount Tire. I have a little over 40k miles on my Michelin Premier LTX tires that need to be replaced. Tires have a 60k mile warranty so I am getting a warranty discount of $471 on 265/40R22.

Crazy times with the Coronavirus. Got my tires installed today and I was told to drive in and out of the service bay. I had the tire pressure monitors replaced at $60 each since they are 9 years old.
FYI they are only doing necessary work so scheduled tire rotation and balance are not being done at Discount Tire.
