Just got my first GX 460. It is a 2012 Premium model with 56k on it. It perfect condition, been driving it a week and absolutely love it. I came from an MDX, I really like how high you sit in the GX and that it has such great capabilities. I have been reading this blog and have made some upgrades to the lighting, I put in LED running board lights, plan to change the courtesy lights in the doors to LED as well. I also added some LED light strips to the glove box and arm rest storage since they are poorly lit. Here are some pics of my new ride and the upgrades.
Congrats and Welcome!!! Looks good!! Pretty simple swap on running board LEDs? I guess I need to check out that thread. :-)
Pretty easy. Reach up but twist the connector from top down. You will have to feel on which way to twist to remove it since you can't see it. But it's easy once you get down under the car and look up.

congrats Quicksilve. It was my first mod too lol. I'm thinking of getting one of those led for the bottom of the cup holder to light it up. More like atmospheric lighting.
yes, interior lights and running boards are the same.
I got something similar last week 2012 and looking to upgrade the interior and other bulbs aswell. Can u pls explain what kinda bulbs do I need for the interior/door and running board. I was checking on eBay and are these all 194 bulbs or different.
