Can anyone point me to a thread where some may have made temporary/permanent mods to their GX Gen 2 rig for camping/living purposes? I have done some preliminary searches and it doesn't seem to be returning much.

You may have better luck for options on the Prado forums... I would have to think a lot of different ideas are out there on Australian vehicles.
