How come no word yet on redesign of GX?

No Changes For 2018
I talked with two dealers both claiming there are no changes for the 2018 GX460. The recent 460 rebate may indicate that they are not selling as well as before. There appear to be plenty available in this region, but certain colors are harder to find in the Luxury. The GX is a cash cow, so they are likely not motivated to change. I also heard the RX with the third row seat is not coming out until 2019. I sure wish they would at least put the 8 spd trans in it, since that alone could improve gas mileage and not impact their CAFE numbers..

I noticed today that http://www.lexus.com/models/GX is now showing 2018 MY GX. No changes at all as far as I can tell.

I'm glad that they keep the style so it means my 2010 is still somewhat "in" haha
OTOH, if you're in Canada, you can make a few quick bucks at the Lexus Grip The Wheel event.

Maybe this? '20, '21 or ? :-)
http://www.autonews.com/article/2017...transformation
"GX: Based on the 4Runner, Lexus' midsize body-on-frame SUV is getting long in the tooth, with its last refresh in 2014. It continues, however, to ride the trend toward light trucks. Perhaps only a shift in that trend will push Toyota/Lexus to update the model beyond updating some seat materials for 2018. Assuming a decadelong cycle for the chassis, look for a new GX in 2020 for the 2021 model year. Maybe."
