Default rear ended other cars

the 2014 GX460 rear ended the car in front of it, in chain reaction all 3 cars in front were damaged.
Wife was not hurt. seems nobody was hurt
seems only superficial bumper & hood damage on the GX, with no fluid coming out.
got the GX towed to lexus dealer for repair. two other cars were towed as well.
got police report & all party's info. reported to insurance company.

first time to clean up this kind issue.
would appreciate any tips & suggestions, thanks.

Glad no one was hurt. Well, it sounds like the police report was already done, but when at the scene (after ensuring no one is injured) as well as when speaking to insurance investigators, admit no fault, make no apologies - just state the facts of what happened. Hopefully your car will be back in good shape and on the road soon.

wife was fine did not feel much impact.
so glad the GX was very well built
i plan to keep the GX forever..

Sorry for the accident but glad no one was hurt. Let insurance take care of it since that what it is for. Make sure you select a good body shop. Good luck.

Depending on the damage to the other cars someone (most likely the person all the way upfront) might be looking to their insurance to cover the damage. It's all a matter of what brand vehicles were involved, where do the folks want to go for repairs, and what total coverage you have.

I had a Jag and was rear-ended by a Volvo wagon (new) who actually was rear-ended by a moving van forcing them into me launching my Jag up onto the hood of the new Volvo wagon (tore out the entire rear differential). Person had $25K in coverage that didn't even pay for the damage to the Volvo so my insurance had to cover my repairs.

Glad everyone was OK and safe driving wishes your way!

A few years ago I tapped an older Chrysler when the driver started to go through a yield sign and slammed on the brakes. The car had 140,000 miles on it, and the owners wanted my insurance to fix everything wrong with the car, even things in the front suspension. By the time they got done, insurance spent $1800 on a $1000 car and my insurance rates went up.
As stated in an earlier post, be careful making statements to insurance adjusters. State the facts, no admissions of anything, if need be, get an attorney.
