Anyone have WeatherTech Window Deflectors on their GX?

Are they the dark or clean tint?
I went with the dark tint. Figured that would be best considering the Onyx and everything else I have going on.

eBay is having a $15 off $75 coupon until 6pm PST. If you're thinking getting something there, save some $$

Have you considered gloss pillars to even out the look?

Ok I finally used the ebay coupon and bought it. Should be arrived in a week or so. I hope the smaller profile won't have much wind noise.

Thanks for the suggestion, but not really. Two things from my POV:
  • I don't like to place double sided adhesive with any aftermarket part on any of my cars as I am always uncertain what it will eventually do to the actual OEM part that I am placing it on. Particularly the paint/finish/stability of said OEM piece(s).
  • If I would do the trim then that would also result in an off-set of the OEM trim pieces that originate from the mirror, up over the windows, and down the back-end of the rear PAX windows (which are flat black from the factory) To me the WeatherTechs are an accessory, residing in the window channels and not interfering with the flow of flat factory paints, rather they are augmenting the Onyx that is there and the reflective nature of the windows themselves.
Again, that is only MY opinion. YMMV.

I too am thinking about ordering the deflectors. I had WeatherTech deflectors on my Subaru Tribeca before and they definitely contributed to more wind noise when the windows are closed and even more when they were opened. Do you think they have been improved?

The wind noise is definitely louder when all windows are up especially there's cross wind. Because the cabin is so quite that any increase of noise is easily noticeable; it isn't that bad. If there's no wind outside, it's barely noticeable. However when crack the window (driver side) a bit, I think it's a little quieter than than without the deflector.

Everyone's windows operating normally after initial adjustments? This is the only thing making me gun shy about ordering them.

You just have to nudge it up slowly when it's near the top. Roll it up in one motion with kick in the auto-roll down feature. It happens on all 4 windows, but the fronts more more sensitive than the back.

I have the WT's and do not notice a difference. One thing my wife noticed was a bit of visual distortion which I guess is to be expected when you are looking through a curved piece of plastic

Trying to make a decision on these. Yours look nice and I hope you're still happy with them. Do they hold up to going throuogh a car wash? I often use one when I don't have time for a detail.

I went through the express car wash maybe 4-5 times since the WT installation and they are holding up well. Once settled, they don't roll down much when rolling up slowly. But one-touch up will always kick in the anti-jam/rolldown feature.

This to me is the deal breaker!
