Hay Mods,,,,,,,,,How about and ADVenture sticky. Post your fun adventures you took your vehicle on. Doesn't have to be hard core rock crawling (we don't do that in our luxury cars). But what was a fun trip, that maybe your GX helped make it possible. Trip reports, include pictures etc. Could be taking the family to the lake with the boat, Could be a trip to Moab and doing Hells Revenge, could be a hunting trip, or picking up another couple for a night at the opera. Really what ever you enjoyed, and maybe your GX made it more worhtwile. Maybe you took a trip to Prudhoe Bay. Alcan highway and all. I would love to see the pix of that trip, and maybe share a trip report.

I agree, that would be an interesting thread. If you like that topic, check out expeditionportal.com they have a forum section with some real fascinating write ups from all over the world. It is one of my favorite sites.
Cheers!

I've taken pics and posted whenever I took a trip with my old Pathfinder in Nissan forum and will do the same when I take the GX too. Maybe you can start by adding pics to this thread?

Ours only has about 700 miles on it, so no pix or trip report yet.

Finally I have a chance to post this. LOL
A few months ago, about 3 weeks after I got the GX, I took a 3 hours trip to a place calls Carrizo Plain in Central CA to see some wild flower super bloom. It was raining the entire 3 hours trip there. The roads on the Plain is really gooey mud and clay so I didn't have a chance to go on a few dirt roads that I originally planned to. It was still fun and the rain stopped for a while when we were there to enjoy the flowers.

Some pics

Up there is a nice panaroma view of the whole place. I didn't drive up because of the mud.

A Prius that got pulled out after got stuck in the goey mud. I saw a few got stuck. That tow truck was making a killing on these folks.

Feel like Storm Chaser here.

This road only opens when the weather is nice and you need to signup for a guided tour to see the ancient Rock Art

Super Bloom everywhere

I drove half way and came back because it got really muddy and gooey.

Another long road. The section ahead was a big muddy pond. I would love to drive this on a dry day.

Looking back.

The awesome view!

What's ahead. This is a 14 miles road to the south entrance of the park. I didn't make it all 14 miles because it was getting dark.

Alot of people came for this view.

Just like Microsoft XP wallpaper.

Nice pictures. The picture at the gate, almost looked like Picketwire canyon gate.
