I assume most of those are getting tossed in garbage too. Not a cheap part at around $145/new

LOL, Acrad to the rescue! I'll be putting those up on ebay, they were literally in my trash pile as I already damaged the side steps beyond any repair.

LOL...not many people damage that piece but you never know. Do you have to remove the runningboard in order to take it off? Is it snapped on?

This appears to be what the underside fasteners look like.

A lot have gone RCI. I'm still waiting on BudBuilt but not concerned right now with it being winter. If things get closer to one year mark I'll probably have to make some tougher decisions.

@Acrad35751 is Budbuilt making a GX specific armor or did you purchase a 5th Gen 4Runner with KDSS option? I'm planning to pull the trigger on the ARBs from MetalTech but have BudBuilt now on my 3rd Gen 4Runner and nothing but good things about it. Thank you.

Yeah they are designing a 460 specific set of plates with exact service points for diff, oil, oil filter, etc. My order slipped through last year when their website was posting availability but it was from the crawl of a beta site that was online. If you look at oil filter access panel on the other makes it doesn't line up with the 4.6L's oil filter. We'll see if they come through with design... I know most would not have waited as long as I have but I will be receiving the first set when they go out. That is what Bud told me.

Preciate it, I'll focus on other stuff then and hopefully by the time I'm ready to purchase they've hammered things out. Look forward to seeing it on your truck.

My RCI skids are holding up great so far with plenty of use, a few hard hits and not even a dent. Not sure if anyone has used ARB on a 150 yet, some guys have them on 120s. If you need skids just go with RCI, if you can't modify them yourself just skip the transfer case skid until one comes out that is bolt on.

Did you buy this skid http://budbuilt.com/2003-2009-Lexus-...nk-_p_691.html and it fits your 2012? Could you please advise from your experience if it will fit 2018?

Philly01 : It is actually the one for a 4R. It says 1016 on my invoice since they hadn't updated website at time when I purchased April 2018. No reason it won't fit all 10-19 460s.

Any drilling required? Or use existing holes?

No drilling and existing holes. I did it by myself so I just used a floor jack to help raise it up into place and tightened down bolts. It was easy swap taking old one off and putting this one on.
