Default Rear door won't unlock

The rear door on our 2011 GX premium won't unlock. Is there a switch somewhere that I'm missing?

Not that I am aware of but there have been issues with the rear lock assembly failing on previous generations. Not sure if the current gen has had this happen

Thanks for the quick response. I should elaborate a little, and mention that I can hear the power lock inside the door clunking when the rest of the vehicle unlocks, but the handle will still not open the door.

Does anyone know if the door panel on the rear door can be removed from the inside with the door closed and locked?

Solved my own problem, and I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else encounters this. It was simply a case of the door handle not retracting all the way when the door was latched. So if I pushed it in a little bit so that it seemed fully latched, then it would open the door. I'll put some silicone on it so it doesn't happen again anytime soon, but maybe as these vehicles get older someone else will have the same problem.

The tech at the Lexus dealership says that when this happens it's a sign that the handle should be replaced. I'm going to try silicone lube and hope for the best.

Thanks for the update on this. I open my door a lot with work and have had no problems.
