Parted with one of them.
Loved the 13 that I had updated - put nearly 50k on it in 3.5 years. Other than the self induced suspension issue, it was absolutely trouble free at 166,300 when I swapped it out today. Am keeping the silver one as it only has 83k on it and has every option & drives like new.
Was looking to get my wife a later model ES300h because she complains about fuel costs on road trips…. Well, that search resulted in me reading about how some drivers of those really miss their LS4x0 and I got to looking. Have always loved those. Found a beautiful and lightly used, immaculate 2014 LS460 F-sport with AWD & some of the nicer options. They come with that black suede type stuff for the headliner and seats with more support. Ultra white with the 19” rims, black grill, rear lip spoiler & light tint. Original MSRP was over 88k!!
Drove it 6 hours home and got 23 mpg at 73mph too. That is downright Prius territory compared to what I’m accustomed to. Drives really nice and handles great for something its size.
Told wife that she was keeping hers and that I’d cover her fuel. Told her I got something else and she says “on no, not a Corvette…”. Nope, but this is wayyyyy more comfortable.

I’ll have to look around more at other 150 series models. In last 7 years I can’t recall offhand another example of sunroof breaking like this.
Is your sunroof usually closed, in tilt or open?

Yeah I don't think WE can wait that long...chop chop! I'm a fan of the K02's, but the other choices are solid as well. If you can stomach a few mods, I would suggest considering 285's as they just fill the wheel wells so much better then 265's!

[QUOTE=blackangus;11700797]Hate to see your GX go, but congratulations! A few years ago, I sold my SC430 to buy an LS460, but used the money to buy into a business instead. I should have stuck with my plan and bought the car....![/QUOTE
Thanks - it was a great vehicle. It was a one owner with 110ish on it when I got it & had meticulous maintenance records on it. I kept that up and paid the $ dealer prices for the major service. For zero mechanical issues at 166k, it was great. But for the suspension wiggle that was from something not done right when the shocks and springs were swapped out 25k ago, it was a perfect car. Am keeping the 2017 though. Wife loves that one. I’d like to get the side moldings taken off of hers but she doesn’t mind them as much as I do. Will probably put new leather in on hers, it just bothers the crud out of me to see leather that looks so crappy as hers does.

One of my rear window struts busted and rusted. Replaced it with a new one.

I ordered/received some cheapo rear seat covers from Amazon for the captain's chairs, a set of 2 for around $50, easy to put on, but are on the "cheezy" side as they just cover the headrest portion like a pillow case. Seem like decent quality for the $$, and I was wanting something to cover the Ecru colored seats since I carry gun cases in the back seats for rifle matches, etc. and they won't fit in the rear cargo area due to length.
I also put some RainX on the barndoor window to see if it would help reduce the amount of road grime accumulating on the glass when driving in the rain, etc. Time will tell.

Just a little cleaning.
In the fall I applied some Surface Shield to the GX and the Tundra. In the spring, I wipe the road grime off that sticks to the surface shield. I know I don’t need to wipe it, but it does make it look new and gives me time to look everything over while I’m under there. These pictures of our 23 GX460 and I live in Southern Pa. I Have no affiliation with PB Blaster Surface Shield. Simply sharing my pictures of how the product works. I posted these and my pictures of the Tundra on Facebook and someone is repeatedly saying that these pictures are AI. I assure you these are 100% real pictures. The Tundra looks just as good as the GX and its been through 3 winters.
