Agreed, current LX should continue to be around for some time.
Has Japan ever had the GX? GX is sold in Japan as a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. Many markets (USA included) do not get both the GX and the Prado, usually one or the other.
I also very much doubt that a guy at a dealership knows more about future product than the press.

That is true that the GX is sold as Toyota Land Cruiser Prado in Japan and some other markets. However, the link I posted is for the international models that Lexus is currently selling and not what Toyota is selling. I was curious why only the GX was excluded and the other Lexus models are all there.
