Default Help me tell if there are parts missing from these pictures

I am just about to close on a 2013 GX460, and am curious about the two compartments on the back tailgate door. One compartment has a toolkit, and it looks kind of like there may be some parts missing. Is something missing? The other compartment looks custom-shaped, but there's nothing in it. Should there be something in it? Thanks everyone!

2013 GX460. Is there supposed to be something in this compartment?
2013 GX460. Are there parts missing from this tool kit? Which ones?

I had the same concern, as it was empty on my '11 as well.

Owners manual says it's for an evidently optional emergency flasher, or something like that. So nothing to worry about.

If the wheels have locks on them, be sure the key socket is in the tool kit.

Thanks for the quick replies, guys. Looks like the GX460's don't ever have all of the tools included from the factory. Its normal for some of the slots in the tool kit to be empty. It also seems normal that the other compartment is empty.

Again, thanks much for the help!

My wheel lock key is in the toolkit.

I also have a Lexus first aid kit in the door but nothing else OEM.

Smile Tuesday Tip

Use a label maker or something to put your name and phone number on your wheel lock. I received a phone call the day after a rotation at a Goodyear, they forgot to put it back and traced it down to me (I didn't have my info on it then). I could see a shop finding it days later and giving up on locating the owner.

Some good tool ideas there. Think I might build a HF tool package to fill in the blanks back there.
