2014 GX 460, with 17k miles. did the 20k mile service at dealer yesterday. then today, when starting, it struggled for at least 3 seconds and then started, but with "check engine" light on, and with "trac off" message showing.

before the 20 k mile service there was nothing wrong with the GX, as expected. was thinking maybe the dealer messed up something during the maintenance? checked the engine oil level, the engine oil surface level is about 1/3 grid over the Max line of the dip stick, could this be the cause? Checked under the hood could not see anything wrong.

then hooked up to a Autel MS300 DBII code reader but there is no code showing. very puzzled. will take it to the dealer tomorrow. would really appreciate any insight or hint, thanks a lot.

If it "struggled" that sounds like a misfire which will definitely throw a code. THe dealer should be able to pull something. Sucks with such a new GX.

yes it is really disappointing.. either caused by the dealer maintenance or original quality
