Crawl Control - 1 to 5 MPH
DAC- appears to be around 3 MPH
You can use Crawl Control while in any gear, but normally, it would only be used in first gear as first gear would give you the most control and 'crawl' with it.

You have the full Driver Support Package on yours?

For crawl control if it was just a BCM and console switch swap like in the 4Runner...might be something for me to think about.. not positive a new master cylinder is needed though. I notice '10-'13 they had standalone crawl available as an option but I can't say I've seen that unicorn. That might be rarer than the GX's without nav.

This guy retrofitted his '15 4Runner

Wow! I applauded him for doing this. Alot of admiration for people that modding the vehicles to do what they want. Pretty cool to read.

Just speculation but I don't think splicing would be necessary on the GX... just a console with the crawl switch on it. There were some physically absent switch assemblies on the 4Runner.

Are you saying that the wiring could potentially be there and all that would be needed is the switch installed??

That very well could be.... I've thrown this out there to give thought to the adventurous souls who want to travel the path first :-)

At minimum a new switch and a BCM. The big expensive if....is if a different master cylinder is needed. The BCM new is not too bad at around $500...used probably half that. The 4Runner guy didn't need the master cylinder replaced.

Some more info I posted in a different thread.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gx-...l-control.html

If all the connectors on the wiring harness side of console switch are terminated in the connector then a major piece is already done.

Hah, sorry guys looks like you found my video. I actually deleted it since it was 5 minutes, here is the shortened one. Yeah I put it in 4 low because it was very off camber and it would have just spun in 4hi

Another trip yesterday

Still getting the hang of the drone.
