Default Facelift

Anyone ever attempt a facelift on the 460s? Not so much an 11 model to 15 model facelift but a JDM one. I ask because getting ready to pull the trigger and want to incorporate the post minor change Prado lights used in Japan, an Elford grill and lower bumper. I would like to lift, probably King over ICON but just wanted to know. Tried to search but didn't come across much. Much of the Japanese threads point to easy swaps with minimum modification in cases.

First pic shows off the lights and Elford bumper but not the grill, second pic is my old 3rd gen 4Runner, third pic is the truck I'm using as inspiration (2" body lift and 3" suspension lift) and last is a closeup of lights and eyelids. Cheers!

Like you, I think the "facelift" lights you posted look better then either Lexus version or the previous Prado version headlights. I think you might want to see if you can source the lights from European country where a LHD Prado is sold so you don't go blinding everyone with the JDM RHD headlights. The fenders and the hood actually look like they line up between kouki/zenki prado but obviously the grill and bumper need to be swapped out. (Not sure if the chrome trim on the hood is all that needs to be changed but having to buy a whole hood to get it all to match would be pretty costly. (there are some aftermarket hoods for the 150 though) For the GX, I think you'll need to swap out the fenders as well. (and be the first GX with an "assist mirror" on the fender?)

Since you mentioned it, I am actually curious how easy a set of 150 parts would fit on a 120 though, have you ever seen that?

Default about time

Well, after close to two years of contemplating a purchase I'm pulling the trigger on a 2012 Premium. Look forward to posting more info and buildup items here soon. Cheers!

BAPrado, please post more information and pictures of your truck.
Your truck sure looks good, I have the same one and need some inspiration.
Thanks!
