Sorry for bringing this up from the dead, but I assume the US dealers will not perform the Canadian recalls on the vehicle? I found a great deal on a GX but my buddy who works at a Lexus dealer says they won't do the recalls. Have you run into that?

if you have time, reach out to lexus corporate in the usa and see what they say. just found this while on the site, give it a try.
