Default Rear Spoiler Assembly

So my wife was out shopping and closed the back door and heard a big rattle and a piece of plastic fell off the door. Upon closer examination, someone/thing hit the back of the car and knocked the spoiler off. The light cover is smashed, and the window has a big mark on it. Not sure how this is even possible, but it happened. This is the part https://parts.lexusofwestkendall.com/oem-parts/lexus-spoiler-assembly-7608560082b0

Does anyone have any experience replacing this? The plastic bottom section is held on with a series of square metal brackets. The places where the brackets went into the spoiler assembly are all broken, and one of the brackets is slightly bent. We are going to take it to a body shop for an estimate, but I'm wondering how difficult this would be to do myself. Seems relatively easy, the only issues I see are bending the bracket back, and figuring out how the new part would attach to those square brackets.

Any advice appreciated.

Need to get some pics tomorrow. A bit concerned that if I muck with it too much it will be hanging by the light wire. It's sort of still attached by some small clips.

I saw that thread, but this is the entire assembly, not just the top painted skin.

Just as tecman stated, the entire assembly comes as 1 unit from the factory and its repainted. My wife backed into the garage door before it fully went up and broke the top cover portion on ours so I had to order it for around $850 since it wasn't worth the claim through insurance. Post a pic and if needed you can have mine if you pay for shipping from WA state.I still find it odd that it broke on its own, especially at the bottom.

Here are some pics. The first one shows the busted out plastic on the spoiler and the little metal bracket it attached to (lower left). The second shows the metal bracket that got bent slightly out from impact.

Thanks for the offer, but I would rather have the entire unit, and not have to swap the top covers. When you say it's repainted, you mean it comes painted to match the vehicle? They are available in various colors, so I'm guessing they don't need painting. Any chance you can post a pic of the underside where the little square metal brackets I've mentioned fit into the spoiler so I can visualize how this goes together?

It didn't break on its own, something hit it.

No worries. I meant it comes PRE-painted from the dealer/factory. My GX is a 2015 Starfire Pearl and it matched just fine. I can try to post pics tonight.
