Air Suspension on 2015 - Good?
Hi Gang,
We just picked up a new GX. Traded wife's Wrangler Unlimited Sahara since we're expecting our first. I had to have a real truck so I'm now in the family. I've always loved the look of the 91-97 Cruiser (and still do) - and it feels good to have a cousin of this legendary lineage.
Anyhow, we opted for the luxury to get height adjustable suspension for wife and other girls in dresses.
1) However, we noticed that unlike a Range Rover the range (no pun intended) of adjust-ability isn't that great at all. Am I missing something?
2) Is there a way to make the range greater? Can I lift it with some software or even allow it to keep the highest setting even while moving?
3) What exactly are the perks of this air suspension?

It's rear only.
The suspension was meant to balance loads while towing and assist with clearance off road by going down or up as needed. The system is described in the brochure and the owner's manual. I think you were expecting something completely different.

Air Suspension GX 460
Cannot speak for the base or premium models, but the Luxury Edition Adaptive Air Suspension lowers and raises the entire vehicle as well as leveling the rear end when weight is placed on the rear. There is the Sport mode, Normal Mode and Comfort Mode. The amount it lowers and raises is only a small amount and is spelled out in the owner's manual.

I too was under impression the whe vehicle raises and lowers. In any cas are there aftermarket bags that raise higher? Is there a way to override the computer to enable it to remain in high setting even at speed?
